Hi there, we are going to climb Scafell the end of Feb, what clothing and equipment would anyone reccomend please? we are doing the corridor route. TIA

End of Feb could mean ice, snow and a howling gale or sunny and quite warm. Impossible to say, really.
If it's ice and snow then ice axe, crampons, and microspikes are handy for easy angled paths covered in verglas, and most importantly the skills to use them. That's in addition to suitable winter clothing and winter boots that fit. Synthetic thermals under windproof trousers, and waterproof over trousers. Synthetic baselayer, mid layer fleece or two, waterproof outer and an insulation piece for throwing on at stops. Gloves, preferably multiple waterproof ones. Beanie hat that goes over your ears. Food and drink. Headtorch.
You also need decent navigation skills as the corridor route has some tempting 'escapes' that lead you into dangerous ground. It's also remote and when the cloud drops people often end up lost down in Eskdale when they should have been in Langdale, Borrowdale or Wasdale.
That said, it's a fantastic route if you get a suitable day.
