Hello,

I was just wondering if any of you fine folk could help me. I'm disabled and struggling more and more each day. I wanna go wild camping whilst it's still possible, but can't walk too far anymore, so was just wondering if anyone has any ideas where would be best to head that we can park overnight and not have to walk km, but hopefully still enjoy some beautiful scenery?

Thanks!

Wild camping is only tolerated in the Lake District above the intake wall, so that usually means a fairly long uphill walk. We have a page both explaining this and giving a long list of camp sites, many of which have great views.

WalkLakes recognises that hill walking, or walking in the mountains, is an activity with a danger of personal injury or death.
Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
