Hello,
I am looking for some advice please, There are 6 of us arriving to Far sawrey on the 27th of Dec until Dec 30th and we would like to complete some walks on Dec 28th and 29th, we are not experienced walkers but would like to walk 3 to 4 hours a day (fitness levels are good) we will have cars so can drive a bit first if we need to.
Any good walks looped or linear that we can do with far sawrey as a base? or anything interesting we should see/do while we are there? we are aware of the Beatrix Potter connection and will definitely seek that out.
any help /advice/ maps etc very welcome.
thank you all and Happy Christmas

Staying in Far Sawrey you have to include the lovely Moss Eccles Tarn as it's right on the doorstep.. We have a walk - https://www.walklakes.co.uk/walk_233.html - Moss Eccles Tarn and Claife Heights - which should be suitable for you.
If the weather is kind and you want some good views then there is https://www.walklakes.co.uk/walk_232.html - Latterbarrow from Hawkshead.
Or traveling a bit further out we have walks based around Ambleside: https://www.walklakes.co.uk/walks_ambleside.html Lots to choose from.
