Google Maps not Good Enough

Came upon this story in todays papers -

Cairngorms mountain rescue say Google Maps lead inexperienced walkers 17 miles off track

Yup, we were a bit gobsmacked when we heard they'd ended up in the Linn of Dee. They'd left their car at the car park at the base of the funicular up Cairn Gorm so, by road, that puts them 69 miles away from their start point. Given their lack of preparedness I rather hope MRT made them take a taxi!
