me and my lady are new to this walking lark, and fancy a week walking the lakes, with our dog. we're planning a mix of walks ending in camping for the night, and walks ending in dog-friendly hostels/inns at the end of the day. has anyone done something like this, that can give give us some advice? much appreciated. alan.

We cross posted this question to our Facebook page and there Moira Forsyth wrote:

Seathwaite to Wasdale via Scafell range. Overnight Wasdale Head Inn and then back via Great Gable range. Great two days and the Inn is VERY dog friendly.

WalkLakes recognises that hill walking, or walking in the mountains, is an activity with a danger of personal injury or death.
Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
