Hi

Thanks for providing a really good site with plenty of great walks to follow.

A couple of quick questions though. How do i edit the date that i recorded having climbed a hill? Also, is there any way of making a walk report private? I'd like to use the report as a way of recording all mu summit pictures and whilst i have no problem with other people seeing them, i don't want to clog up the forum with posts that aren't particularly helpful to people.

Many thanks

Craig

Currently the only way is to go into your log book and remove it (by unchecking the box or reducing the count as appropriate) and then clicking on "save changes". Having done that go to the hill page and use the "log the hill" link to record it again, with the right date.

(Hills you log via a GPX track1 from your GPS will have the right date on automagically of course.)

No, there's no way to do that. It's actually a commercial thing: for search engines content is king and walk reports are content. The more we have, the more is added, the more search engines love us.

  1. A track records where you have been and when you were there. For more information click here.
