Townhead Cottage is a stone cottage in a rural location, five miles from the village of Pooley Bridge. The cottage sleeps two people and has one double bedroom and a bathroom. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and open fire. Outside is a garden and roadside parking. Situated in the Lake District National Park, Townhead Cottage is a lovely romantic cottage all year round.

Accommodation

Mostly ground floor. One first floor double bedroom. Bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and open fire.

Amenities

Oil central heating with open fire(logs can be purchased locally). Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Power inc. in rent. Logs for fire are not included. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair on request. Roadside parking. Lawned gardens with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 miles. Note: Property accessed via seven stone steps, please take care. Note: No mobile phone reception. Note: Stream opposite cottage, which is at the bottom of a very steep bank, children must be supervised at all times. Note: Road to cottage is narrow and steep, a four-wheel drive may be required in winter weather. Note: Babes-in-arms only. Note: Please be advised that you will need to bring your owner supplies for the open fire. Note: Due to the location of the property, WiFi is suitable for browsing only and not for streaming or downloading.
