High House is an end-terrace cottage in the hamlet of Newton in Cartmel near Cartmel in the Lake District National Park. With two bedrooms, a double and a zip/link twin room, the cottage can sleep four people. Also in the cottage are a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove. Outside is off road parking and an elevated lawned garden with outdoor furniture and superb views. High House is an excellent holiday home for a small family at any time of the year. Note: No children under 5 allowed due to staircase.

Over three floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x second floor twin (zip/link, can be king-size double on request) with TV with Freeview, DVD and PS2. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with multi-fuel stove. Summerhouse.

Electric storage heaters with multi-fuel stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, 2 x TV with Freeview (1 Smart TV), 2 x DVD, PS2 with games, iPod dock, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for multi-fuel stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car opposite. Additional roadside parking 5 mins walk. Elevated lawned garden with summerhouse. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 8 mins walk, pub 4 mins walk. Note: There's five steps up to the entrance to the cottage and seven steps up to the garden at the back. Note: Inside the property there's a very steep staircase to the second floor, please take care when using it. Note: No children under 5 allowed due to staircase.
