North Mains Cottage is a wonderful semi-detached cottage resting in the grounds of Craigievar Castle near Alford, Aberdeenshire. Hosting an all-ground-floor layout and home to two twin bedrooms, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with a woodburning stove. Outside there is parking beside the property and access to the castle grounds. North Mains Cottage makes a perfect base for a holiday to Scotland with friends.

Shop 5.3 miles, pub 2.4 miles. Note: There is no WiFi at this property. Note: Dogs are not allowed on beds or any of the furniture, you may like to bring an old towel to wipe muddy paws. Note: Fuel for the wood-burning stove is not provided, logs and coal are available locally at petrol stations and shops, we kindly ask that you do not collect wood from the estate. Note: The beds in each room cannot be made into one large bed, please consider this when booking. Note: If the Accommodation becomes inaccessible due to bad weather the National Trust for Scotland will take all reasonable steps to inform you and to offer an alternative National Trust for Scotland property. Note: There are 3 steps up to the path leading to the entrance of the cottage.
