After a night of heavy rain, preceded by rain, and umm more rain, there are many flood warnings and road closures through the county. The Wasdale Inn are reporting that rounds around Wasdale are shut and not to even think about the 3Peaks! The A66 at Cockermouth is slow due to flooding. Events at the Great North Swim have also been postponed or canceled.
Not a great hill day either. Strong winds and rain will make walking difficult and rivers will be in spate making crossing even the smallest stream a dangerous proposition.
