With all the accommodation laid out over one floor, this property has been built to reduce its carbon emissions whilst still offering the class and hospitality you would expect from a well-furnished holiday cottage. As well as boasting features, such as the original beams, the cottage uses geothermal heating to warm the floors during the colder months. Central heating heats the rest of the property, meaning you can enjoy all that the region has to offer even in the winter. During the summer, there is a patio and courtyard for evening barbecues and to simply relax in. With three bedrooms, this tranquil retreat can sleep groups of up to eight people.

Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 4 cars. Front lawned garden, plus side terrace with furniture and rear patio and courtyard with furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Horses welcome by arrangement with owners. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2.5 miles. Note: Water provided from the Sykeside borehole which provides spring water, pumped up at very good pressure. Note: This property is all on one level and accessed via a ramp, so may be suitable for the less mobile and wheelchair users.
