  • "Lovely modern flat with spacious rooms."

Spotlessly clean and smelled fresh on arrival. Kitchen facilities were adequate and in good condition. Some trouble with tv and music system, so clearer instructions needed. Freezer door was difficult to access.

  • "Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean, in an ideal location, close to town centre, owners thought of everything you could possibly need, even binoculars to enjoy the views."

Unfortunately had to leave a day early due to illness and the weather was not on our side but the visit was to see family and friends so not an issue. Would highly recommend this accommodation and would book again.

This property is tastefully decorated and is well equipped with everything we needed. We were grateful for the welcome pack to have a much needed cuppa on arrival. We were so pleased to view the dolphins playing from the window on our first morning ( it made my holiday complete). We had a marvellous holiday and hope to return.

  • "The prime position of our apartment and good parking."

Wonderful homely touches, pleasure to go back to after a trip out. Due to cv lockdown for pubs and restaurants we only experienced a limited time in these, Buckie has plenty to choose from and in normal times would have had many a good night out I'm sure. Views of the sea from the back garden were amazing and all in all was reluctant to leave. Buckie and surrounding areas are lovely, our grandson enjoyed adult go-karting at nearby farm and shopping in Elgin was great. All in all a good week.

  • "We absolutely LOVED our stay at Firthview in Buckie."

We stayed for five nights and the view of the firth from the back windows was enchanting every time we looked out (our hosts even provide binoculars for a closer view of the scenery) The flat is absolutely immaculate and VERY spacious with everything you need and more (netflix & board games for those Scottish rainy days). Buckie is a charming little town with a mini supermarket, takeaways and lovely shops right on your doorstep I really couldn't recommend it more highly. 10/10.

  • "We have booked private accommodation over the years and it is not usual to arrive and find the kitchen stocked with a few necessary essentials so most welcome."

The apartment itself was not only clean but well decorated and spacious, more than adequate for the three of us and would be fine for a party of four. Easy parking right outside the property and well located for amenities with a local co-op minutes away and large supermarket a few minutes drive. And, of course, the views The sunsets over the firth were dramatic and well photographed. The property was great for us. However, being on the upper floor, the stairs up may prove a problem for some Last but certainly not least, we contacted the owner before our arrival and during our stay and he was definitely more than helpful. We would not hesitate in booking the property again.

Overlooking the beautiful Moray Firth, the burgh town of Buckie lies on either side of the Burn of Buckie, on the north east coast of Scotland. It has an array of shops and pubs and is a great coastal base from which to explore this wonderful part of Scotland. Regular boat trips leave from the harbours of Buckie and further along the coast to Macduff, which offer the chance to see bottlenose dolphins and an array of sea birds. To the west of the town, Spey Bay is the base for the Scottish Dolphin Centre and is also a fantastic place from which to spot dolphins and seals! From Buckie, stretching in both directions, the coastline is peppered with pretty fishing villages and wonderful beaches that are perfect to stroll along with your fish and chips. Pack a picnic, drive to the fabled Loch Ness and enjoy a stroll along its stunning shoreline, or explore the historic city of Elgin, a short drive away.
