  • "Another happy visit to Sea View ."

The apartment was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and cosy ( and the welcoming cakes delicious!) When we arrived the small lights had been left on ,giving the apartment a lovely warm glow . Fiona, the owner , lives nearby, and is always on hand to answer any queries. Hours may be spent simply watching the colours and patterns of the water flowing in the estuary......and all from the comfort of the large armchairs , placed in the picture window. We hope to return in 2024 .

Hello Ruth, Many thanks for your kind comments. We do make special effort to make our visitors feel welcome when they arrive, it’s a good start to a holiday! Look forward to seeing you all in 2024 Property Owner

The owners are welcoming and friendly. The Bistro next door is well worth a visit but best to book as it is busy all day. We visited the surrounding areas by car but could have left the car and walked or got the bus. We sat happily watching the view from the sofa. Relaxing place to spend a holiday.

It was nice to meet you both. I am very glad you enjoyed your stay in Sea View Apartment, and the fabulous view over the bay. So glad you enjoyed the food in our Bistro next door. Hopefully we will see you both again. Kind regards, Fiona. Property Owner

  • "We would have liked a freezer compartment in the fridge."

We needed a step to be able to reach into the kitchen cupboards properly. The yard outside needs to be tidied up as the view from the master bedroom was an eyesore. The TV did not have all the Freeview Channels eg Sky Arts & Drama so we were a bit disappointed. These are niggles & did not take away from the overall satisfaction with the letting.

Thank you Josie for your comments which we take very seriously and always try and address. A new fridge with ice-box is being installed in the next few days. We have been waiting for the removal of items to be taken but due to Covid this is overdue. We do not subscribe to Sky due to the cost which we would have to pass onto customers. We find most of our customers bring their own laptops etc. and use Netflix or similar. We are always happy to help our clients with any problems on the spot if they just come and have a chat with us during their stay. I am glad these niggles did not impact on your overall stay. • "Fantastic communication from the owner."

All my texted questions were answered straight away. Good flexibility in arrival time. The flat was clean, very well equipped and everything was clearly labelled. The little things were provided too, such as kitchen roll, waste bags, hot water bottles, torch, hairdryer and a whole range of cooking utensils. The view from the lounge window, overlooking the bay, was stupendous. We enjoyed watching the wading birds from there, and we could even see Portmeirion's lighthouse. The bed was very comfortable and the added bedspread was welcomed in the cold. During Storm Franklin, we did find the bedroom window draughty, so we kept the blinds and curtains closed. There was a heater available, but we didn't need it. The flat is above the bistro takeaway, which creates some noise, but this is largely during the day, so is not too intrusive: it generally closes no later than 7:30pm. The takeaway was serving some delicious ice cream - especially the rhubarb & custard flavour. We had a fabulous stay, the owners were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We felt this accommodation was was just perfect; - a great way to celebrate my 'significant' birthday. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.
