  • "Our second holiday at this cottage and will come here again."

Lovely little cottage in our favourite area

  • "This is such a lovely little cottage and was perfect for our short stay in the Lakes."

It was so warm and cosy and the bed was very comfy. The shower was a bit of a challenge as the water just trickled out and kept going hot and cold! A shop and pub are just a short walk away, I would certainly stay here again.

Lovely studio cottage in a great position, plenty of room with a really comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything that was needed and was clean and modern.

I have mobility issues so being all on one level and parking close to the cottage. It was cosy and comfortable, even though the weather was snowy.

  • "The accommodation was clean."

Staff friendly. Great location. Quite small. Electric towel rail in bathroom not working. Would have been handy for drying towels. Parking rather tight but okay. Question:- Would I stay here again. Yes

  • "The property was better than I expected though the kitchen area was tired, the oven was not screwed into the cabinet and the end of the oven cabinet is loose and moves, I pushed it back into place but it needs some attention, the seat outside the property were not used as the car had to be parked close to the seat to allow other cars to get by making the seat unusable but this is understandable, I used the seat opposite the property on the other side of the road by the river instead, the seats may be better to be moved where they could be used by others."

But these were minor issues and I had a pleasant stay in a quiet and warm property I will use the location again in the furture.

  • "The toilet seat moves around."

The basin makes a racket when water goes down the plug, and the shower is very weak. Not impressed that we had to ask the cleaner to remove a large amount of mould from the kitchen skylight. Radiator in the bathroom not working all week despite advising you on the Saturday morning. The gap to get into the bed is very narrow, so not suitable for a larger guest. Bed was comfortable though. Kitchen stocked adequately. No garden access for dogs.

On a good day, with the fine weather Gods in your favour, you can walk to Keswick. There is no need to take the car anywhere once you have parked outside the cottage. There are beautiful fell walks, dog friendly pubs and a delightful village store all within a short walk. The cottage was perfect. Warm and cosy, and we would certainly book again.
