  • "A really beautiful house, stunning location and views."

The house is fabulous for family get togethers. We were 7 adults and at no time do you feel as though you are living on top of one another. The surrounding area is absolutely amazing, beautiful beaches with no-one else in sight, wildlife in abundance. Our second stay here and hopefully we will be back.

  • "Absolutely beautiful house with loads of space for us to have a lovely stay!"

Such a lovely welcome gift too! Spoiled us! Gorgeous walks nearby and the beaches with almost white sand are stunning! The house was very comfortable for our family and had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come again! Only a couple of things which aren’t really issues but we let the lovely owners know about a drawer in the kitchen to the right of the cooker that comes off it’s runners when opened so go careful in case it’s not been able to be fixed yet. Also some of the fixings looked as though they were about to fall off the wall but these are only minor things and did not in any way ruin our holiday and we would definitely return again for our next holiday. A very beautiful house, loved the window seats to read a good book!

A beautiful, comfortable, spacious, well equipped house in a lovely area with friendly locals. The outside of the house could do with a lick of paint to smarten it up but the inside is immaculate with very tastful decor.

The property was as described, well equipped with good quality bed linen and an excellent and reliable supply of hot water. Perfect for a family or friends group of all ages. And a delightful surprise in the refrigerator on arrival! Well situated for access to the Small Isles and outstanding beaches. Blessed by visits from an inquisitive stag! My Third and definitely not my last visit

  • "We all had a wonderful stay, the property is beautiful and very comfortable."

The kitchen is very well stocked. The benches at the kitchen table could be a little more comfortable. The only thing we could say that was not perfect was the previous guests had not picked up after their dogs In the garden so we had to do it. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Great location for exploring and walks (inland and coastal) around the area and easy access to Mallaig for ferry trips. Perfect holiday.

  • "Amazing property with a beautiful view."

Our late August holiday benefited from great weather that meant we could enjoy sitting on the front veranda. Furnishings throughout were impeccable and the beds very comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. Support from our hosts was superb and the minor issue (my fault) on day one was resolved instantly.

  • "We had a fabulous time in and around Arisaig."

There is nowhere in the world more beautiful in fine summer weather. The beaches are idyllic and the property was a key factor in the enjoyment of out stay.

  • "A beautifully appointed and well-equipped house."

The kitchen could have done with one or two more sharp knives when catering for 8 people, but that's a minor detail. In other respects the supply of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc was very generous. Overall it was an excellent property, spotlessly clean and ideal for our family holiday. Instructions and guidance was extremely clear, and communication with the owners was excellent.

  • "We spent a lovely Christmas here."

The house is brilliant for family get togethers. It was spotless, bedrooms good sizes, all seemed to be newly painted etc and we even had a lovely Christmas tree. The kitchen and dinning area work well as you can cook and chat with family and the kitchen is really well equipped. The garden is good for dogs but there are a couple of gaps in the fence. If you run out of any supplies the Spar is a 5 min walk and there are are some beautiful walks for dogs. Brilliant location to get to know the area. We are looking forward to returning. The views are also fab.

  • "Lovely big family house which easily accommodated ourselves , our two sons and their children and the dog!"

We were nine in total. Easy parking for all our cars. We enjoyed the space in the kitchen dining room with those lovely views over to Eigg. As a large group we struggled with fridge space but as it was winter we were able to chill the wine and beer outside! The bedrooms were great with lovely linen and towels, very much appreciated. We didn’t use the upstairs sitting room on the whole as our children are small but with teenagers it would be ideal for a getaway space. As it was the winter season, eateries were either closed or part opened . Websites not giving accurate information. However we loved the local fish and chips and Mallaig is ten minutes away with a variety of cafes and pubs if you need it. We spent our time on the fabulous beaches. Overall , a great week and a lovely place to stay.

We had 2 families staying (8 people in all) but could have had more. There was plenty of space for us all to eat and live, and we found everything that we needed. The upstairs lounge was brilliant for the children, complete with DVDs for any quieter moments and for family movie nights. The beds, bedding and furnishings were luxurious and all carefully and thoughtfully provided. Bathrooms were of a very high spec. All the instructions were clear. The description accurate and photographs were accurate too. The area was brilliant, we loved it and explored the train, the beaches, the islands and the hills! The owners were easily contacted with any queries. We very highly recommend this property for a wonderful holiday.
