  • "The cottage is even better than in the pictures."

The views down the glen are like a painting. The House was very clean, stylish and well presented. Kitchen was well equipped with all the items you could possibly need. Having the mountains on your doorstep is a jackpot for someone who likes long or small hikes. This is the perfect place if you want quiet and break from busy city/town life. The host was very nice and gave us a few tips where to go. We felt very welcome - we will definitely be back.

Lovely location and well equipped . Comfortable rooms . Didn’t want to leave If you want a peaceful and quiet break this is it . Local walks and wildlife to enjoy . A visit to Applecross across the pass and lunch at the walled garden at apple cross is a must do for your places to visit.

It was so well equipped with all and more than we needed. From the moment we walked in we relaxed and the setting was amazing- we couldnt stop looking at the views the entire week. The whole place was so clean. Great location to explore Skye but so much on the doorstep or a short drive too.

Comfortable and totally quiet with stunning views from every room - and a great base to explore the Highlands and Isle of Skye. Be prepared for a few miles of single track road to reach the cottage but it’s worth it.

  • "A lovely, lovely property with simply magnificent views."

It totally met our expectations. The owner came to check everything was OK which it was and was very welcoming. We had a great holiday but the weather was against us and the only respite from the rain was on day trips out. If we had to nitpick about anything it would be that the TV needs updating to a newer, larger model for the size of the room . It is not something that would bother us normally but with the weather being so wet we were more reliant on it during the evening.. A very small quibble, it was a great comfortable place to stay.

My friend and I stayed for a week and didn’t want to go home. Off the beaten track, literally, 7 miles of it, but it’s worth every bumpy mile.

The huge well fenced garden was perfect for our 2 young dogs who had a wonderful time chasing each other round! There are plenty of walks to go on and wildlife to see. The owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and we will certainly be going back. Highly recommended.
