The NSPCC have joined together with the Lake District National Park Authority to provide family friendly walks along some of the best footpaths across the region. The first walk of 2.75 miles (expected to take two hours and an easy walk) will be held on 20th February starting at 10:30am.

The walk will start at Rydal Water and heading up towards Grasmere, stopping at some mysterious Rydal man made caves on the way! They recommend bringing a packed lunch and wearing walking boots as paths may be muddy. Dogs are also allowed.

Tickets are £1 per adult, children go free, but must be supervised by an adult. Booking is essential, by calling 015397 24555.

All proceeds from this event will help support the NSPCC's vital work with vulnerable children and young people in Cumbria and across the UK.
