Windermere Ferry Closed
Advanced warning that the ever popular vehicle ferry across Windermere will be closed on 21st May and 22nd May from 6pm to 6am.
Apparently a number of the pulley units which help move the ferry across the lake using cables strung across under the water need to be replaced.
