A Guide to Mountain and Moorland Birds

BBC Radio 4 broadcast a series of five fifteen minute programmes this week to help you identify some of our commonest upland birds. Presented by Brett Westwood with birder Stephen Moss and featuring recordings of birdsong from wildlife sound recordist Chris Watson you should find the programmes invaluable to help you work out what it is you're seeing, and hearing, as you walk the hills of Britain.

The series was recorded on The Long Mynd, Shropshire and although they've all been broadcast now they're available indefinitely1 on BBC iPlayer so you can still download and enjoy them.
