Starting to use the program

When I log in and search for a town, the cookie pop up will not go away without me clicking many random buttons for nearly a minute. The program finds the town but it is greyed out in the background. Eventually the program works. Any help will be appreciated.

That's curious. I'm having trouble reproducing that here. Can you tell me what browser and version you are trying this on, and what operating system? A screen shot would also help (see here for how to do that) which you can email to me at
