We've just pushed a new release of the GPX mapping software up onto the web site.

It includes quite a number of minor tweaks and enhancements to just improve the way it work (the ability to drag using the right mouse button for example) but I've also added an entirely new feature which links the height profile more closely to the track2 or route1 to which it relates. This is easier to explain by showing you so I've put a video online here* which demonstrates how it works.

If you have any feedback then feel free to comment to this post.

* YouTube version here if that link doesn't play.

  1. A route describes where you are intending to go, point by point. For more information click here.
  2. A track records where you have been and when you were there. For more information click here.
