Waypoints or places of interest labeling?

Hi There and thanks for a great app! I was wondering if it would be possible to add a feature whereby points of interest could be added and displayed each time the map is viewed. Nothing too sophisticated, just a screen label that persists for ones own login. I would find this really useful.
TallPaul likes this postIt's a good idea, and it's already on the roadmap. In the mail we send out to new and renewing supporters one of thing that we might add in future includes:
- the ability to have your own layer so you can add useful notes to the map which only you can see
We've also talked here about these notes being public or private, so you might want to add a point of interest and share it with other users.
Just wondered if the 'personal layer' was any closer to fruition?
Funnily enough we were discussing this only the other day and I have started drafting an email to supporters about it and also another project on which I want to do some more work (mobile mapping, which we're using a lot more ourselves now and I want to take another pass at).
Ah, I see you've disabled mailings from us, so you won't get that email by default. I'll try to remember to mail you too on this one if that's OK? (And I'm going to post to the supporter forum too in case I forget.)
