We love the lakes so much we moved here! This is now my 'local' fell that I can see from my office window, so only right to go and climb it ASAP! OK, so not a Wainwright and not in the national park, but the forum description does say 'around' the national park.

Unfortunately a bit of road walking at the start but soon onto a farm track which then opens up into farmland and then, excitingly, lots of limestone pavement.

Views from the top of distant Lakeland fells and Yorkshire dales as well as Morecambe Bay. Lots of different paths up here so looking forward to much exploring in future.
