After the epic previous day I decided to do something really short. So Red Screes from Kirkstone seemed to be the ideal day on the hill.

The wind was blowing really hard but I was determined to get out of the car and walk. I started up, from the car park{{ATTACHMENT 2}} I took this picture before I set off just to make sure I had some photographic evidence of the hill I intended to climb.

I set off but when I got to 660mtrs I decided enough was enough, as I could hardly stand up in the extremely strong wind. I took the following photos then headed back to the car and made my way home on the relatively safe M6.
