shall we, shan't we
Our annual Lads & Dads took us back to Jacks Rake, where last year, we bailed out because of the wind and rain. No such issues this time - great, sunny and still.

Set off from NDG and slogged our way up to Stickle Tarn for a brief intake of sustenance. Worked our way to the foot of the rake - the scree is a bit tiresome. 2 of our team decided not to attempt and left to find the North Rake. The rake itself is "interesting"; you are a bit exposed in a couple of places, but nothing too technical - just a fantastic scramble.

We descended via Harrison and Stickle Gill to NDG, a swift half and then home. Yet another great 3 days.

Definitely recommend Jacks Rake, but, if you don't feel comfortable, don't do it. Also, in poor conditions, I'd give it a miss; come back another day - it's not going anywhere....

Looks like you had a good day for it! How did the dog get on?
