Starting from the Greenside Road, follow the steep incline up the rake to the hause. Turn right at the wall and follow the obvious path to the summit of Glenridding Dodd. Great views along the length of Ullswater from here. Returning to the wall follow the ridge up and over Heron pike and along the flat ground to the summit of Sheffield Pike. Drop down to the lower part of the Sticks pass path and follow it down past the mine and hostel, leaving the road at a footpath that leads back to The campsite or continue into Glenridding village.
