The walk up Gowbarrow Fell starts in Aira Force National Trust car park. Follow the trail up through the woods to the waterfalls and then out onto the open fell before turning right to follow the wall up to the summit trig point. I then continued around the fell which gives great views of Ullswater on the way back to the start point.
