As a couple of Wainwright baggers we are trying to knock them of efficiently. Last week we tried to bag Gt & Ltl Mell plus Gowbarrow as drive bys'. We failed (only achieving Gt Mell before retreating) but learned not to attempt anything off the main roads when the snow is low lying, our car is for towns.. The track shows we nipped up Lil Mell first than drove to the NT Aira Force high car park and trotted up Gowbarrow. After we took a detour down to the lower car park to use the loo (shewees are handy it was a very cold day!) The last ramble up was High Rigg. Very impressive views.

From Gowbarrow

On route to High Rigg Blencathra looking well.
