A walk up Stone Arthur. Stone Arthur is one of those rare tops that you can see from the start of your walk, if you start from Grasmere village of course. The route heads up the lane next to the Swan Inn and then follows the Greenhead Gill track onto the open fell side. From here it’s uphill all the way to the summit on a good path which got a little boggy on the final approach to the summit rocks. Great views down to Grasmere and beyond from the top.
