A walk from Ambleside heading up Nook Lane, past the farm, across Low Sweden Bridge and then up to Low Pike. Good views back down to Ambleside and Windermere beyond. Follow the wall to High Pike and then on to Dove Crag. Good views all the way back down the ridge and ahead to Fairfield. From Dove Crag I tracked back on myself and then dropped down into Scandale where I enjoyed the walk down the lovely Scandale Valley, spending some time at the pretty and ancient High Sweden Bridge before making my way back to Ambleside.
