Latrigg and Lonscale or Lat & Lon for short. Very clement day so took time to stop and take in the views.

Quite a steep pull up Latrigg to start the day, The top is grassy and a very pleasant place to admire the districts panorama. We made the decision on the day to traverse to the east around the foot of Lonscale. This route was very quiet as Skiddaw was attracting its customary attention.

The climb up Lonscale from the SSE is steep and grassy it will be very slippery when wet.
