Going down Ennerdale and taking the gradual path up to Scarth Gap made for a gentle start to the day. Good views of Steeple and GT Gable.
Apart from being a long trek with terrific views there is no particular obstacles to report.... except for the descent from Gt Borne, that is slippery narrow and precipitous, next time i'll walk around Herdus.
Great Gable from Ennerdale
High Crag just as AJW drew it
Red Pike from High Stile
Crummock Water
Starling Dodd Iron Works
Great Borne
