The route up and across the tops presents no particular difficulties. However, coming down the valley alongside Liza Beck was quite tricky. The slate path quite often has bad steps and opportunities fall down the ravine. Especially under Gasgale Crags. On our route up you can see we went wrong low down and tracked back. We might have a few less hairy moments had we taken the track out of the valley to meet up with that track stub. That said if you are nimble and have a good sense of balance you should be fine, we just don't have those attributes.

Anyway there were compensations, taken on Whin Ben
