Caw Fell sat on our to do list for a while - and this route seemed the easiest for us to achieve. £8 to park for the day and contactless worked! No particular difficulties except for the lower section in Lingmell Plantation, just a but boggy and uneven for a short while. Cows are making a mess of paths they fancy using, churning them up and dislodging boulders. No big problems even with the dog who is young and not wise in the ways of the hills.. Only encountered 2 other humans, a couple somewhere near Little Gowder Crag who where doing the Wainwrights before starting a family
