A short but enjoyable walk from Troutbeck following the bridleway and route of the old Roman road up the valley. Crossing over Hagg Gill on the footbridge I walked up the southern ridge which gave me lovely views back down the valley to Windermere. From the top I dropped off west through the bracken and then onto a farm track which led me round to Troutbeck Park Farm where I followed Ing Lane down the valley and back to the start.
