Starting from Patterdale I took the path across Goldrill Beck and then up to Boredale Hause. The ridge skirting Boredale is followed to Beda Fell which has good views down to Martindale. I reversed the route and took the path up to the summit of Angletarn Pikes. Good views down to Brothers Water from here. Dropped down onto the coast to coast path back to the hause and then back down to Patterdale. Great clarity in the air and lovely views over the fells.
