Festive Fun Including Guided Walks

A Christmas cracker of festive fun is set to be pulled in a Lakes winter wonderland. Schools out and parties are in at Brockhole, the Lake District Visitor Centre on the shores of Windermere.

Events organiser Andrea Hills said as the year drew to a close it was great to see how large numbers had been attracted to wide-ranging activities in 2013. She added:

We're putting the finishing touches to our events and guided walks 2014 programme and look forward to sharing some fantastic opportunities with old friends and new faces.

Check out the details on www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/events.

And if you want to do your own thing then don't forget we have lots of walks for you to try, including some gentle walks for working off the Christmas excess.
