A walk up Hart Crag from Dovedale, on to Fairfield and down Deepdale. This walk goes up the lovely Dovedale valley past Dove falls and with impressive views of Dove Crag. The Fairfield horseshoe ridge is joined and followed to the summit of Hart Crag. From Hart Crag the obvious path is followed up to Fairfield plateau and summit. After enjoying the views all around the scramble over Cofa Pike leads to Deepdale Hause where the long and often unfrequented valley of Deepdale is followed back to the start. Cheers Paul. Yes it was a great day out, I'm a fair weather walker these days and like to get a view from the tops
