Crinkle Crags - Long Top
Crinkle Crags - Long Top

Part of Crinkle Crags above Langdale. There are five crinkles, this being the second crinkle going north on the ridge. The 'bad step' on the way from first crinkle can be avoided by traversing left and continuing up the obvious grass rake.

In mist it is atmospheric, you could easily imagine Gollum (Lord of the Rings) popping out from behind a rock! 'Hurry Hobbitssss...'!
