Uplands for Juniper Project

Having been first introduced to the wonderfully aromatic berries and leaves of the Juniper bush in Scotland we're always pleased to see it growing down here in England. Unfortunately, many of the existing trees and bushes are getting old and their seeds are not thriving due to poor fertility and when they do germinate the seedlings are often browsed by sheep and deer. So it's heartening to hear of the Uplands For Juniper Project, and even more so to see enthusiasts of the Wainwright Society have helped raised money for the project.
