Six new Lake District walks to explore

Beth and Jessie's latest trip has yielded six more walks on the site so we now have twenty for you to try. The new walks are:

The view from Fleetwith Pike

• High Street (Racecourse Hill), and a few friends, from Mardale Head takes you from the head of Haweswater for a circuit to Racecourse Hill - the summit of High Street, the Roman road - with some stunning views.
• A Walker's Blencathra takes you up this well known Lakeland fell from the tiny village of Scales.
• Lonscale Fell takes you around the craggy east side of the hill with views down in Glenderaterra Beck river valley.
• Catbells is a short, sharp, steep climb richly rewarded by the views of mountains and lakes.
• Haystacks and Fleetwith Pike takes you up, Haystacks, the hill where Wainwright's ashes are scattered and has some stunning views, including the one we're currently using as our banner photo for the site.
• Haystacks is a shorter version of the previous walk missing out Fleetwith Pike, but still well worth the effort.
